Free Telegram Members for Your Channel or Group
The free Telegram members trial adds 500 members to a public channel or group from its t.me link. We don't need your phone number, a login code or admin rights.
Free Telegram Members claims aren't available right now
We've paused free claims for this service. You can still get Telegram Members right away, starting from our smallest paid package.
What the Telegram trial includes
- Members
- 500 members joining the channel or group you link
- Link type
- A public t.me/yourchannel link. Private invite links can't be used.
- What we never ask for
- Your phone number, the login code Telegram texts you, or admin access.
- Where it shows
- Channels show the number as subscribers, groups as members.
Using a public t.me link
Members join through the channel's public username link. It looks like this — with no + sign and no joinchat in it:
- 1Open the channel or group and tap its name at the top to see its info.
- 2Check that it has a public link. If not, tap Edit, choose Channel type (or Group type) and set it to Public with a username.
- 3Copy the t.me/… link shown in the info screen.
- 4Paste it into the form above. You can switch back to private after the members have joined.
Links that can't receive members
- Private invite links such as t.me/+AbCd… or t.me/joinchat/… — these are the ones that failed in our deliveries, because they can expire, be revoked, or require approval.
- Groups with join requests switched on: each new member waits for an admin to approve them.
- A link to a single post (t.me/yourchannel/123) instead of the channel itself.
- A bot or a personal profile link — neither can gain members.
How Telegram counts members and subscribers
Telegram has two kinds of community with different rules. Knowing which one you run explains the number you'll see and how it grows.
Channels broadcast, groups talk
A channel is one-way: admins post and subscribers read. A group is a conversation where members can write. Both can be public or private and both can use this trial through a public link.
Very different size limits
Telegram groups can hold up to 200,000 members, while channels can have an unlimited number of subscribers — one reason large audiences usually live in channels.
Every channel post shows its views
Posts in a channel carry an eye icon with a view count. It rises as subscribers and visitors read the post, and it's separate from the subscriber total.
Public channels can be found in search
A public username makes a channel discoverable in Telegram's global search, and Telegram also suggests similar channels to people who join one. Private channels are reachable only through invite links.
Inactive accounts delete themselves
Telegram accounts self-destruct after a period of inactivity chosen by the user. When that happens they leave every channel and group, so member counts can fall a little over time.
Private links are fragile
Invite links can be set to expire, limited to a number of uses, revoked, or set to require approval. That's why a trial like this one relies on the channel's public username instead.
Growing a channel beyond the trial
The trial adds 500 members so you can confirm the process works with your channel's public link. For a new channel that needs a credible starting audience, or a group you're launching for customers, the paid packs below add members in hundreds or thousands. A channel that already shows a real audience also does better in Telegram's similar-channel suggestions, because people are more willing to join something others have joined.
Free Telegram members — FAQ
How can I get free Telegram members without giving my number?
Use this trial with your channel's public t.me link. Joining a public channel requires nothing from your account, so we never ask for your phone number or login code.
Why doesn't my private invite link work?
Private links (t.me/+… or joinchat) can expire, be revoked or require approval, so deliveries through them often fail. Make the channel public with a username for the trial, then switch back afterwards.
Does it work for groups as well as channels?
Yes, for public groups. If the group has join requests turned on, new members wait for approval, so turn requests off while the members join.
Are members and subscribers the same thing?
Telegram calls them subscribers in a channel and members in a group. It's the same idea — people who joined — shown with a different label.
Why did my member count drop later?
Telegram accounts delete themselves after long inactivity, and people leave channels over time. Both affect every channel, not just trial members.
Can I make my channel private again?
Yes. Once the members have joined, you can switch the channel back to private; people already in it stay subscribed.
Will the new members read my posts?
Post views in a channel come from people opening your posts, so they grow with your content and how often you post. Members give the channel a credible starting size.
Do I need to be an admin to claim?
No admin access is shared with us, but you should own or manage the channel — the members go to whatever channel the link opens.
Can I get free Telegram Members more than once?
You can claim one free order every 7 days, across all of our free services. Once that time has passed, come back and claim again.
