- Links with /reel/. Facebook's short-form video works the same as any other.
- Page videos
- Links with /videos/ on a Page. These are public by default and work.
- Friends-only posts
- Not supported. A post limited to friends is not public, whatever your own relationship to the poster is.
- The fbclid parameter
- Facebook appends a click identifier to shared links. It is stripped here before the link goes anywhere.

- No. If a post is limited to friends it is not public, and this tool reaches public content only — even when you personally can see it while logged in.

- What about Facebook Reels?
- They work the same way. Copy the link from the Reel and paste it in.
- Do I need a Facebook account?
- No, and you should never give a downloader your Facebook password.
- What is the fbclid on the end of my link?
- A click identifier Facebook adds for tracking. It is removed before the link is sent anywhere, so it is not passed on.
- Is the video watermarked?
- Not by us. Facebook Reels sometimes carry a creator's own overlay, and that is part of the video itself.
