Text Symbols to Copy and Paste
FlowFame's text symbols page is a palette of 149 decoration symbols you can copy with one click: stars, hearts, flowers, crowns, arrows, dividers, bracket frames, and the gaming marks people put in PUBG and Free Fire names. Click a symbol to copy it and add it to the line above, or click a frame to wrap whatever you have typed, then copy the finished line into a bio, a display name or a status.
Which symbols work where
- Frames
- Pairs of opening and closing marks — corner brackets, angle quotes, lenticular brackets — that sit either side of a word. They come from the punctuation blocks every phone font includes, so they are the safest way to make a name stand out.
- Stars, hearts, flowers and crowns
- Dingbats and miscellaneous symbols that have been in Unicode since its first decade. Android, iPhone, Windows and Mac all draw them, though each in its own font, so the exact shape varies a little from one device to the next.
- Gaming marks
- ꧁ and ꧂ are Javanese section signs; 亗, 乂 and 彡 are Chinese characters; ツ is Japanese. Game clients and recent phones show them, but they live in fonts that older or stripped-down Android builds leave out, which is why that row carries a warning.
- Arabic text
- Every symbol here is neutral about writing direction, so it sits correctly next to Arabic as well as English. A frame placed around an Arabic name stays around it rather than jumping to one side.
- What is left out
- Quranic marks such as ۞ and the ornate parentheses ﴾ ﴿ are excluded on purpose: they belong to scripture, not to profile decoration. Emoji are excluded too, because every platform redraws them in its own artwork.
How to build a decoration
- Type your name in the line at the top, or leave it empty to collect symbols only.
- Click a frame such as 『 』 to wrap the line, then click single symbols to add stars, hearts or dividers.
- Press Copy beside the line and paste the result wherever you want it.
Frequently asked questions
- How do I copy a symbol?
- Click it. The symbol goes to your clipboard straight away and is also added to the line at the top, so you can either paste it on its own or keep clicking to build a longer decoration and copy that instead.
- Why does a symbol show as a box on my friend's phone?
- Their phone has no font containing that character, so it draws a placeholder. The text you sent is intact. This happens mostly with the gaming marks; everything outside that row comes from blocks almost every device carries.
- Can I use these symbols in an Instagram or TikTok username?
- Not in the @handle. Instagram and TikTok handles accept only letters, numbers, dots and underscores. Display names, bios, captions and comments take symbols freely.
- Do the symbols work with Arabic names?
- Yes. Type the Arabic name in the line, click a frame, and the frame wraps it in the right order. Symbols carry no direction of their own, so they follow the text around them.
- Is there a limit to how many symbols I can add?
- The line here holds 150 characters, the same as an Instagram bio. Remember that each symbol uses up one character of whatever field you paste into.
