What works, and what doesn't

threads.com links: The current domain. Anything you copy from the app today looks like this.
threads.net links: The original domain. Older shared links still use it, so both are accepted here.
Public posts: Anything visible without logging in. That is the whole of what this tool can reach.
Private profiles: Not supported. If a profile is private, its posts are not public media and this tool will say so rather than guess.
Video and images: Both. A post carrying several images returns each of them separately.
Your Instagram account: Threads runs on it — the same handle, the same followers. Growth on one is visible on the other.

How to download a Threads video

Open the post, tap the share icon under it and choose Copy link.
Paste it above and press the button. A link is only sent when you press it.
Save the file. It comes from Meta's own servers at the quality they serve, with nothing added.
